Sawit Sari Research Station is a research facility of the Faculty of Biology. The Sawit Sari Research Station has experienced several very significant developments in the last few years with improved facilities and the concentration of several research activities at the facility.
Currently the Sawit Sari Research Station has several research support facilities including a greenhouse and a research center. Some of the research that is actively carried out at the Sawit Sari Research Institute includes the cultivation of Super Sleman Longan (Kelengkeng Super Sleman) plants, the breeding of several plants such as mango, durian, striated beans and chilies, research on bees and the conservation of orchids and several horticultural plants. Sawit Sari itself has great potential to be developed and widely utilized by researchers at the UGM Faculty of Biology.
